basic question - Stand for tank
Hi all,
Got a very dumb question to ask... Notice that a lot of the reefer's tank r supported by those wooden stand instead of those cheaper metal racks. Is it becoz the metal will corrode very quickly? |

With proper anti rust coatings and the right thickness and size of steel bars used, metal stand are equally or even more stronger than wooden stand.

Fyi, my outdoor chennai wood stand expose to rain or shine is still in perfect condition for 5 years except for the color fades which I "re-paint" yearly with teak wood paint.
If place indoor .. a chennai wood stand it will last a long, long, time .... ie years |
