Default If you see one of your fish dying in the tank ...... should you ....

1) Let it still in the tank ........ and let it die slowly ?

Or 2) should you just scope it out and let it die faster .... without water ?

Option 1 is long suffering..... Option 2 is also cruel.......

How ???

Put it in ice water, quick death no prolonged suffering.

If unsure whether will die or not, net out and try to treat it in spare tank. If confirmed dying, net out and dump it.

I'll let it pass in my tank. Got confident my sump can handle the extra load.
