Hey guys!!I'm a newbie here n pardon me for asking..
Instead of using canisters for filteration,is it possible to use sump tank???

dude, u ask in the wrong section. go look up at Tank set-ups, Filtration & Water Management u will get your answer

Before setting up a tank for shrimps,tot of asking for opinions from 'old timer' out there..

very much depend on your setup if 2ft don't even bother take up space which can setup another tank.

Unless you refering rack with more than 2 2ft tanks whole system running with sump.

Or 1x4ft running with sump.

if you just toying around with 1 2ft tank than go with canister.

Asking for advice on filteration part wif a 4 by 1 by 1 partitioned tank in my mind sir...

With cabinet? 4ft yes you may consider a dump. Partition 4ft or full 4ft? A sump should be okie for a full 4ft
