Default Shrimp Discharge Egg

Witness tis. What does it mean?

Your shrimps drop eggs, means that it is stressed. You can take the eggs and hatch it artificially. Take the egss and put it in a little net, then put the net at a place in the tank where it can receive some current. Take out the fungused eggs everyday. Also take note of your water parameters, maybe you can post your parameters, then we help you see whether there is any problem.

Okie... will check my parameter. If i dont hatch it artificially. The baby will die?

If the egg hatch then the shrimplets will feed themselves in there. If doesn't meaning the eggs are a goner and best cleared.

Do your tank have assassin snail?
If yes, they will eat the eggs.
If the eggs is fertilised, it may hatch, if not, then will rot

goodness first time i see shrimp drop eggs in batches ...

i ever seen drop 1 by 1 but not the whole brood

My fire red drop all it's eggs too.found the eggs all gone but can't see the eggs in my tank :-(

I guess it is quite common fro them to drop eggs, mainly due to few reasons such as stress, wrong water parameters, sudden shock due to turn on light in teh middle of the night.

I myself have seem many of this before in my old tank, when I just started to go into shrimp keeping years back.

Above is some of my own experience for your reference.
