Eballast Qns
Hi all
got a qns regarding abt eballast. As we all know, HOT5s uses wattage which are like 24wats, 39watts and 54watts. (in respects to the length of the tube). Okay. and the ballast used to fire up these tubes have to be of the same output as well. (correct me if i am worng please). Here's my qns. I kinda have a couple of first genration Eballast. Osram Quicktronic Proessional QTP. Was thinking, are they possible to be used to light up 2x39watts of HOT5? as in would the T5s light up in the first place. These are the spcecs of the ballasts: Quicktronic Professional (dual tubes capability) QTP 2x36/230 - 240 Lamp: 2 xL36w / 2 xL38w V: 230 - 240 A: 0,31 F(Hz): 0; 50 -60 lamda(wavelength); 0,98C Range of application: AC/DC 198v to 264V Range of battery Volt:154v to 276v Can be used for luminaires protection class I and II. Preheat time <2 sec. EEI = A2. Thanks. will try to post a pic when i can borrow a digi cam. |

Bro, Since they are spares and lying ard, no harm to use them first, if really cannot then change also not to late. At least can save some $$$$ to buy some more corals. |
