I have dosed my tank with without any issue.
If you are worry, can go for Mosura BT9.

Where you got that notion from bro? Many bros here are using commercial BB including myself! When I first started, I forced myself to get products that were solely meant for shrimps. However, after interacting and learning from the sifus here, it was not necessary to do so!

Now, I'm using Microbe-lift products (been using them for my aros and BDs) for my new PRL setup with no problems

Since shrimps are very sensitive, just wanted to be prudent.

Suspect GH a little high/ tank not mature, as fire red shrimps have died a day apart after mounting. Will get test kits. How do I reduce GH for shrimps?

Hmmm.. In your case, I would just let the tank mature first. I won't do anything else. Just wait. What I've learnt is that if the shrimps have gotten used to a particular parameter, just leave it

I have realized that although beneficial water may help, but instead of purchasing the commercial stuffs, I utilize the old water from an established tank and introduce the aged water in the new tank for cycling purpose.
