Bringing in fish to Australia
Hi guys, I'm planning to move to Aussie and do you think its possible to bring in livestock into Aussie? Cos I believe it's gonna be really hard...but If anyone out there has done it before, please share the experience or which websites I could refer to for further details including (applications, cost and etc). Thanks appreciate it.

i think first u gotta check singapore customs for bringing fish out of sg. next u gotta check aussie customs for bringing fish into aussie. aussie has quite strict rules on bringing in lifestock, even plants.

Yeah bro that's the thing, but too wasted to leave or sell them...been with me for many months...hahaha...but well. Sometimes no choice cos the cost does not match the benefit...but i went to the local fish shop there, the fish quality is so limited...they just love KOI so much cos its cold water, even the aro is those african aro...hahaha sad sad big time.

Australia is extremely anal abouy invasive species getting into their country. Just go into their aussie embassy in Singapore website and information about bringing livestock into their country is there.
Chances are slim you'd get to bring your fishes in. |

not worth the trouble even if u can convinced them to allow u to take them in, which is almost impossible.

depends which state your moving to. i know melbourne and darwin do not allow koi, there illegal, but sydney allows koi.
there is a list of allowable imports for live fish, anything not listed is not allowed and destroyed upon customs and fine ranges from 5k to 20k per fish. |
