Any good suggestion to remove the pests?

hello.. sry to disturb.. as we all know, after having a tank which contain of water plants and shrimps for around a month, we will start noticing small white dots of pest moving around in the tank.. now i even c mini worm "moving around in the tank. i noe the best solution is to put in at least 1 small guppy in the tank so that it will eat the pest however,i might afriad that the guppy will also attack my shrimplets too.. Is there any medicine or water solution which add in the fish tank to kill the pest but not so sensitive to kill the shrimplets?

those "pests" shld be water fleas or daphnia , they are harmless , not necesary to remove ...

as when u have them it yr tank , it indicates clean water

i noe it is harmless but sometime it is irritating to c quite a few of them before it turn to be a small population in the tank..

Sounds like salt might help a little bit...

Haha. Thus far i've tried boraras to clean worms and these tiny pests, works well. Now i have galaxy to clean hydra. Very natural method.

Maybe not adult guppy, but baby guppies should be fine. I just put a baby guppy and 2 baby black Molly in my new shrimp tank over the weekend and I dun see anymore of those little white moving things le.

I too, use 3 boraras brigittae in my 1ft cube to clear the water fleas and worm. So far so good, my fire red shrimplets population are increasing so I leave the fishes in the tank without netting them out after they have done their job.
