Default Ways of removing nitrate, NO3.

Hello everyone, i had cycled my tank long enough and check parameter before i introduce crs into my 2ft tank. However, at the beginning it was fine. Now my nitrate level has shot up quite high above 20ppm. I wonder what are some ways of removing NO3. The nitrate level is still high despite water change.

I have only 16shrimps, and 1oto in a 2ft tank.
Plant wise 20x3cm mesh of flame moss, some marsilea hirsuta, and some narrow ferns. 1 small coconut husk of mini pelia and small mesh of mini fissiden. 2small rock of us fissiden and 1 small rock of star moss.

What do u all think i should do to remove the nitrate?
Can nitro-zorb work for crs tank? Thanks for ur help!!

Only way is water change or use fast growing plants to soak up the nitrate. Hornwort and frogbit are ideal IMHO

Thanks! Taken note, will try out some plants and more partial WC. aiming to do less WC to prevent the water parameter from fluctuation.
