Default Water conditon ok?

my tank current is 6kh and 107.4ppm gh.. is that ok for crs?

er.... your KH is too high! but i dont unds the GH part! can use 1, 2 , 3 ,4 , 5??? hahha

How is hardness measured? There are two units commonly used in measuring hardness: German Degrees of Hardness (dH) and Parts Per Million (ppm). One dH = 17 ppm. For a rule of thumb:

think my gh should be 7.. how to lower kh? then for ph, if put co2 will increase the ph or lower?

CO2 will lower ph. KH is affected by calcium in the water. Do you have coral chips in your set up?

kH is affected by carbonate, not calcium.
