My Vampires' Tank
Just starting keeping these lovely crabs again, this time in a 1' cube tank instead of the previous little nano tank that failed. Sudo bottom sand used as the substrate with CC underneath to provide the mandatory minerals for molting. For added precaution, CC are also added to the water part of the habitat.
Lava rocks (which brings up the water pH) and a small bogwood are added for decoration and also, provide hiding spots for the crabs. Apologies for the dim picture as I'm using a 7W clip on PLL for illumination. The occupants were a 'no show' for today's photoshoot and I'll try to get a shot of them next time. Cheers and have a great weekend ahead. |
