Default question on tubifex worms

Hi all. I'm not sure if there is any side effect if u feed ur fishes with tubifex worms. Cox I read online that the worms will cause some disease which can kill the whole comm. Is it true?
Can any bro or sis enlighten me abt this issue? Really appreciate

Thanks
Darius

I feel its more of the high content of germs and harmful bacteria found in the worms that may harm the fishes

My exp with tubi is it fouls the water easily if not properly maintained. Tubi culture usually contains many harmful bacteria which may harm the fish quite easily.

To be safe better to feed frozen BW.

Actually, i feel that if you wash them too long with tap water they foul the water quite quickly. If in the bag the water is already clear, just put the worms in a boon net and just do a quick rinse.

i feed my guppys alot of live food, includes tubifex worms, instead of dying, now i got 100 plus and no place to put already
if you scare, try to clean and wash the worm before u feed them, the trick is try to feed a vairety of food that contain protein, fiber, vitamins and minerals, both live and frakes. having said that as usual the golden words' don't over feed your fish!!".
last time buy tubifex worms, buy today , all die tomorrow
now, i know the trick already, use air pump to keep the worm alive, even the water level is above the worm by few cm, as long u do WC and constant pump air , it can last 3- 4 days, just enough to complete the whole feeding.
