Smallest Aquarium Fishes
Hi guys, what's the smallest fish that's being sold in LFS? The only ones I'm aware of are neon tetras which are about 1inch, is there any other fish around this length or smaller? Ottos?
I love small fish! haha |

smallest fishes i can think of - galaxy rasboras - lampeye killifish (various, grow to around 2cm or less) - some species of wild betta, grows to around 5cm but they're really skinny and small-looking. (can't recall the name) edit: betta rutilans. might be difficult to get because they're now endangered. x.x Last edited by burgundygirl; 28-06-2010 at 07:32 PM. |

The Boraras species should be among the smallest aquarium fishes... there are several species out there in the market. All VERY small... 1.5 to maybe 2cm max.
