New tank.

Your whole setup look very new. How long did you actually run this tank before shrimps are intro? I believe the shrimplet come together with the parent shrimps in the bag right?

bro, using under gravel filter( UGF ) with soil is not so ideal, cos soil will breakdown say around 6 months time, and trap in the UGF.

bro, thanks for sharing..
Not to rain on your parade though, but like what the rest of the bros have mentioned, i doubt your tank has been cycled (fully).. your shrimps may seem fine for now, but once your ammonia, nitrite etc. levels peak, that's when casualties take place. best to take note of your water parameters for the next couple of weeks or so.. cheers! |
