Should be enough...I also using it to run a 2ft x 1ft x 2ft tank....everything seems fine to me.

hmm... while i was surfing, i didn't really see any 1/20 ones... but other people told me to get resun cl 280, or hailea hc 150... but they're like 1/10 right? was thinking to find a 1/20 to lower cost...

is arctica reliable?

a checklist from fishlore.com shows this
check
* Obviously, the price
* Energy consumption
* Noise level, these units can be noisy, especially the bigger ones
* Ease of maintenance
* Is it going to be big enough to use for your aquarium?

i'm kinda new to this, so i'm not sure which has low energy comsumption, which is not noisy...

Hi,
I'm also looking for a chiller. Not too sure on the artica model but for the Hailea model. Heard a number of complains for them. Was looking around at this shop near town last weekend, I met 2 guys buying back their chiller for exchange. Had a small talk with them. According to them, the unit is very noisy and hot. The lcd panel display spolit etc...
Anyway they recommend chiller szie of 1/10 or bigger, reason is more power to chiller the water so equals less kickin time. I not too sure on their reasoning on this. Any kind bro here care to comment. Btw I zooming in on GEX or Artica based on recommendation from this shop in Cementi. Nice setup they have there. Understand they have branch or used to have one at suntec.

hmmm... do you mean green chapter? or c328?

i don't know if you guys think this way, i was thinking of this...

for example, if i get a chiller that's 1/10, let the time it works be A and let the rest time be B(which B means the time taken for the water temperature to rise up again). it's A will be short as its powerful, B would be normal..

if i get a 1/20 chiller, it's A would be longer than 1/10, but B would be the same, however, Since 1/10's A is shorter, means that 1/10's A+B is shorter than 1/20's A+B.. Indicating that 1/10 kick in to operations more times than 1/20.

am i right to say that??

Yes its green chapter, it has almost everything for setting up a planted taank.
PS, saw a number of PFR there.

I agree that 1/10 would kick in more offen as its more powerful than 1/20 but it would be more efficient than 1/20 as it need lesser time on = less power= $$$ savings.
