New in crayfish keeping:)
HI all, im new in crayfish keeping. And i have a few questions.
1) Crayfish of opposite gender will confirm not fight? 2) Can crayfish of different colour breed?( e.g white +blue?) 3) Can crayfish with different colour be put together? 4) Is there a forum is specially for crayfish?( If not, can give me some useful websites on crayfish) thank you in advance |

Oh? The "colours" i meant mean species. HAha im so noob.. So can re-answer the questions? Or the answers are the same

Agreed, if there is enough hiding spots (plenty of arranged driftwoods, caves) and enough food they won't fight too much. I used to have 3 different types in a 2ft tank and because the smallest one was a lot smaller than the largest one, I think it ended up being the giant's supper.

New sets of answers, only change to Q2.
1) not neccessarily, there is always a chance that they will fight, especially if there is not enough space/hiding place/food. However if they have enough space/hiding place/food, the chances of fighting will be greatly reduced. 2)Different species cannot breed. 3)If there are enough space, hiding place or food, there is a significantly lower chance of fighting. do take note their size difference too. 4) sorry, cant help you here |
