Default Sakuras

I got a tank of sakuras and TFR.... once in a while, i will see 1 or 2 pieces turn blue..... i nv really see how it change colour... will only spot the blue piece the next day... have any bros experience this before??

There was once this happened and i took out the blue piece and ensured all was red.... one mth later i spotted another blue piece... *faint.

what do you mean by the above?

I spotted a blue piece of sakura... tot i bought a blue one... so fish it out.... then one mth later i spotted another blue shrimp.... i am sure there wasnt any blue shrimp in my tank anymore... where did it come from?

maybe the genes is not clean or there is mutation of the gene to cause some throw out of blue.. like evolution.. lol.. can share some pic?

I tink so too... but its very blue... will see if it will turn red again....

This time i shall observe if it returns back to its original colour..... hmmm... the last time it happens...

i took out the blue shrimp to another fish tank.... it disappeared... no chance to see if it colour returns....

Sakura will never be blue. Blue shrimp will change to dark brown and have a prominent strip behind their back (head to tail). I suspect when you bought your sakura, it comes with dark brown shrimp which turns blue.

I also am puzzled... yes they look the same and i am quite sure they have the same bloodline.... but like i mentioned, i am sure it was red initially....

You kept a wonderful tank of sakuras but I'm surprised that you want to sell them away.
