Default my 2ft shrimp setup

kanna shrimp poison.

just setup a 2ft tank today.

tank size: 2ft x 1ft x 1.8ft
Eheim 2213 canister
Gex soil


2ft x 1ft x 1.8ft tank


setting up of piping


Gex shrimp plant mix, mosura sea mud powder


accessories

pouring of mud powder at the base


soil lay over the powder


filling up of water with a plastic bag over the soil


cycling time

need some advice. saw some bro adding mineral rocks or old sea rock.
do i need to add anything like this?

or anything that i have missed out?

adding old sea mud rock is a good idea. not for mineral rock. You can control what it release. I rather you use mosura mineral plus to control your GH

I'm also setting up a 4ft tank to keep my poor sakuras. But I'll be using undergravel filter. Have not used it before for shrimps so dunno how well it will work, but at least there's no risk of shrimps getting sucked into the filtration system. Good luck with yours!

Really envy on the room temp of 26C you have. My room temp will hit 30C if there is no chiller. Anyway, all the best to your good 2ft tank.

bro, i intend to use UGF also. may i know if u r using soil or what ?
