Tiger Shrimp
Hi all, just bought a packet of 10 shrimps over the weekend. On the packet it's stated tiger shrimps. The shrimps actually got some black stripes. Just wondering what species are these shrimps and are they the same breed as the cherry shrimps? Will the tiger shrimps cross breed with my cherrys? thanks for any feedback.

Will you believe our guess of the species since you do not have a picture or you believe that was written on the bag?

Generally in my opinion, tiger shrimp could be white, greyish, slight orange...etc with tiger like stripes.....as how the shrimp was named.
I dun tink those cherry or sakura which have stripes on them is tiger shrimp if whoever is referring to those with fine stripes on them. Just my my point of view. However picture speak a thousand words, so is better post the pics for the pros here to help you. |
