Default Shrimp question

Issit right for me to say that i can keep the shrimps w/o food but with mosses and plants only? Will the minerals itself keep thm alive?

first of all what shrimps are u keeping? i think it is best to provide some food like maybe once every 2 days.. this way they are able to grow healthily..

it is better to allow ur shrimp to have a feast on alternate day.

you definitely have to feed them. however, they are scavengers and will eat anything that comes along the way.

Possible for cherry shrimps and malayan shrimps, but your tank must have algae. Shrimps are algae eaters. However if you are shrimps-lover, you would want to pamper your pets with some treats: bioshrimp food, algae wafers etc.

Like bro kendrick has said, shrimps are scavengers, they will eat left-over food, and dead fish etc.

keeping shrimp with guppies is fine. the guppies will not attack the shrimp.. however they will eat shrimplets as snacks since they are small enough to fit their mouths..
