My Very First Shrimp Tank
1.5ft tank, 18w light, simple hang on filter from bro AK47, Gex soil(red pack) added
1.Add Nutrafin water conditioner to remove chlorine and chloramine 2.Fill the tank with soil 3.Fill the tank with water(1/2) 4.Insert the plants(Only can identify hair grass and java moss ) 5.Fill the tank with water 6.Run the filters 23/03/09 1st day of cycle... i think u need to provide more info like wat ur lighting power, gex soil is green or red packet,wat plant u put in the tank,wat type filter u use..every little u do will affect the tank. maye u can post a pic up will be better..

Set up
Nice man! Actually the filter is just nice for the tank. I have no issue getting stable and clear water. Shrimps also propagate like no business.
