Er from my experience, as long as water condition is decent it's okay. May not need filtration if you're only keeping one lobster.
P. Clarkiis eat more varieties of food than Cherax species; they are less fussy. You can feed them all sorts of things like bread and peas/fruits. Cherax, must condition to eat dry food. At least in my case. I'm using Hikari Crab Cuisine for my Cherax lobsters. Clarkiis they eat pretty much anything so no problem there. My water temperature is about 27-29 C, 1.5' x 1' x 1' with 1 HOF and normal river sand substrate. Water level is such that the lobsters are completely submerged. One thing to note, Clarkiis will tend to climb more than Cherax so do note where you put your filter/plumbing and get a cover if you need to. My bro lost 2-3 white Clarkiis in this manner already. |

Temperature Range for Clarkiis
Is an average of 27.3C an acceptable temperature for Clarkiis? What's the acceptable range and critical high Temp that we must avoid? Been searching the forums for ans but no avail. Hope someone can help...
