Guppy change Gender??
Hi all,
I would like to understand why my female guppy turned into a male guppy, more intense colour and it appears to have developed a gonopodium, she also slim down a lot. I'm v sure she is a female as she produces 2 batch of babies for me ever since i got her in June this year. Another of my female guppy seems to be changing too. Although she looks very pregnant, she seems to develop this gonopodium too.. Curious what could have caused this phenomenon? i have many guppies in my 500mmL x 300mmW x 400mmH tank. Now i have 5 adult female guppies, 3 adult male guppies, and about 13-20 offsprings from them. ~MJM~ |
