Is fei feng really vegetarians ?
was told fei feng or semaprochilodus species eats algae and considered vegetarian like.
is this their main diet or they can be carnivorous? would appreciate fei feng owners experience with this fish. thnks |

bro i dun tink they r pure vegetarians......My ff diet is algae wafer,sinking carnivorous pellet and likes to suck on mp too.........

ya..
they are chacrins.. i think they are more of a grazer kinda fish... they suck anything that can feed into their mouths... slime coats of fish included! |

Talking about slime coat, just went to zoo on friday with a bro and saw the motoros there being sucked by fei feng with lots of wound on there body, poor things.

I think they are not vegetarian , they eat food that can fix in their mouth , like tubiworm & blood worm .
