Any Companions for Shrimps?

Hi all, if I have to place fishes in the shrimps tank, [mainly to rid insects like planaria (if any in future) and also flying insects floating on surface after hitting light] what fish can I add?

small fish will do if u wanna just keep shrimps but not shrimplets..
basically almost any fish eat things that fit its mouth..
u can try galaxy. they dun touch my shrimps. shrimplets i not sure they will eat anot..
holland/ballom rams or chichlids family, dun ever put them in.. my melayan shrimps reduced from 20+ to now abt 5 piece only.. all eaten by my holland ram.. now i remove my ram left galaxy, bumblebee goby and shrimps

btw bumblebee goby are likly to eat shrimplets cause they like live food...

So it seems like only Galaxy is "safe"? I have shrimplets as well. erm... looks like not much of choice here. Maybe I won't even dare to try Galaxy. Cos it's still unknown.

hmm i think if u wanna breed shrimp better keep all shrimp if u wanna look nice can try guppy/galaxies/neon/cory ect etc

It's not to make my tank look nice actually, just wanna have some pest control. Cos I'm actually placing it somewhere open but shaded, so flying insects do "visit" the tank and I found a few wrigglers even though the water isn't stagnant.

no fishes is 'safe' for shrimps.. if i was you, i only keep shrimps in my tank which i did now..

what anthen say its true.. i believe galaxy also eat shrimplets.. cause they dun even know what it is.. and saw it moving and eat it up..
dun try guppy.. confirm eat one. scarly adult shrimps also eat.
