Default Melayan shrimps..

today went C328 again
florist selling melayan shrimps around 30 packed together for $3..
as im having prob wif my shrimps in the tank..
bought 1 pack to try out..
auntie told me they are dam good algae eater..
but i heard ppl saying they dun eat algae..
btw.. now i have 2 dead shrimps le... >.< my tank really got prob.. fish all fine..
so who is true? do they really eat algae?

To a certain extend, yes, shrimps will eat algae. But, it depends on what type of algae too.

Since you know there's a problem with your tank, try not to add anymore fish/shrimps. Solve the problem first.

best is still to solve the root of the algae problem...

introducing shrimps to solve the problem.. and then doing something else to control the shrimps from eating the plants.. will not be a good long term solution..

got quite a few.. maybe she found some few wif eggs and stop selling..
i bought some wif eggs one
