Nan light for marine?
Hi I intend to use ma spare nan light for my marine tank. Problem is I do not know how pink light will affect my rocks. Anyone tried that?
Also, how do I replace this light tube with blue light? How do I open up the cover? I cannot seem to open up the nan light to replace the tube? |

Pink lights, are only good for FOWLR setup or fish only setups. IMO, its better to use a white tube as the effect is better. A blue tube alone isn't suitable for marine setups. Assuming its a FOWLR or fish only setup, the lighting effect isn't that great IMO. I prefer bright white lights or white lights mixed with blue.
However, if you keep corals, you would need something that is more powerful.
