lightings question - T5s
Hi all,
Right now i am running 2 fixture of 2 x T5s for my tank. I am using 1 x blue, 1 x 6500k, and 2 x 10k, all aqualight tubes. I feel that the lights are a bit yellowish when i switch on all 4 of the tubes. May i check with you guys that does reefers usually keep one fixture with only blue tubes? Also would my lightings be enuff for LPS if i use 2 blue and 2 white tubes? Thanks in advance |

Bro,
Try not to use 6500k.If I am not wrong it encourage algae growth. If you like bluish effect then try the 20k. Regards |

Depend on your tank height.
I prefer 6 tubes Regards |

If yr budget permits, why not try the D-D T5. Its the next best thing after ATI. U can get it from reef depot.

6500k is more for growth. u will see it as yellow, so best to use 10000k, its whitish..
