Need Help On Skimmer

Hi, I bought a second hand skimmer Macro,..... I think its asf 400, the venturi type. The problem I face here is that I can only get a diluted chinese tea coloured type of skimmate, watery type. I cannot obtain the desired dry black kopi type. Can someone be so kind to teach me how to tune this stuff.

at the exit theres a tap...adjust the water level to a lower level...that way then can have kopi skimmate

i dun think the air intake can b controlled(never use 1 b 4), but u can lower the water level.

There a thread in SRC which teach u to fine tune ur macro skimmer maybe u can try go there have a look.
