bro, great design! i wanted to make a swing to the side one, but after seeing yours, i think yours better.

I'm not the one who come up with this design, some guy from Reefs.org.

Now my hands also itchy, want to mod my hood...

If u can't find the metal hinge, can actually make one with an acrylic strip at least 5mm thickness. Just need to drill a hole at each end and use appropriate screws/nails.
