Ice Probe
Hi,
Any one using Ice Probe here, is it better than fan (lower temp) ? Mine is a small tank 2'x1.5'x1', currently using 2 fans, one at main tank & one at sump, only able to lower temp to 27c at night & as high as 28.5c during the hot afternoon. Will a chiller over kill ? Plan to keep coral if the condition are alright for coral to survive. SooMin |

I think your tank is too small so heat accumulate real fast! a chiller is expensive to buy & run! u might as well upgrade to bigger tank & continue using the fan & see the result.

It is more expensive than a fan.(almost 10 times)
It can easily cool your 2 ft to 26 or lower. It is very quiet and you do not get evaporation like when using fan. |
