Lobang for a Resun FR

Just bought qty (2) units of FBF1000 today and would like to share this lobang if you are looking for a Fludized Reactor. The models are"

1) Resun FBF 500 = $23 each (For tanks below 500 litres)
2) Resun FBF 1000 = $27 each (For tanks above 500 litres)

In addition to the sand which comes with the FR; two transparent piping are supplied in the event that you decided to use or ignore them depending on your needs.

However, you need to buy a small pump capable of a max 600L/H to pump the water to this FR and it uses 16/22mm Eheim hose size or any hose size of 5/8".

wow.. u bought the Resun FR.. for your other tanks? thought u using Deltec FR?? Tell us more after you use this FR, if its good.. think most of us can purchase this FR.. very cheap!

Yes .. I am using the Deltec FR509 for the new 6ft tank with Aqua Phos and you're spot-on as these 2 inexpensive FRs are for the other tanks ... one for Rowa and the other for Chemi-Pure.

Will update everyone when I install the Resun FRs as I need to buy the rubber hose.

wat's the ht n footprint of the model 1000...?

The base of body diameter is only 95mm and if includes the handle, it is about 103mm.

Can say the footprint only 95mm or 3.75"

Whoa .. you're quoted $80 before! Can buy 2 FRs liao.

$80 still got balance if buy the FR and Eheim 600 ($34) cost $61 and the balance can lim kopi plus roti prata with us ;D

i am in fact quite fed up wif tis LFS n wanted 2 highlight here but afraid might get some backfire.

i am stil not sure if i shd get a FR 4 my rowa. i pl the rowa under my filter wool n it works. but since it's relatively cheap, no harm getting it. but BO is too far fr my pl.

I have never use any FR b4 .. may I ask how you put those Chemi-Pure?? the whole bag with net or loose form? Is it with the sand Grade 1 or 0 sand?

Strat: Yes, the sponge for top and bottom sponge come with the FR.

Ekia: I bought it from the same shop where I got my FR

Wlchew: The FR comes with some sand inside. Just throw it away since we are using either Chemi-Pure, Rowa, Phosphate Remover, Activated Carbon, etc in loose form. ie without any net.

Bought 16/22mm hose piping this afternoon and will take pics in the process of installing the FR.

Oh I see, so what I need is to throw Chemi-Pure into one FR and Rowa into another FR? or throw everything into one to "Tarik" it?
