Default Helena Snail eating snail

http://fishaliciousfish.blogspot.com...-snail-to.html

the above article talks about a snail eating snails. personally i gt 1 of it to try out. and it does do the job very well.

This is the solution to all shrimps keepers snail problem. no need to get puffer, no need to use chemicals. it is more pricer then other snails tough.

Thank you for sharing bro. Indeed something most shrimp keepers are keen in.

I was trying to read up a bit more from various source on whatelse these snails (looks like 'chut chut') feeds on. So far, i read that it eats fish food as well. Have not reach anything on algae yet.

This sounds like a good solution to combat the snail problem alot of us have without introducing puffers.

Bro dzylim, thanks for sharing the link.

I got a few of those few days back. At the moment, they seem to be only interested in food for the my shrimps. Yet to see them in action....

i think its hard to see them in action. i have only seen empty snail shells and other then that no other proof it preying on the ramhorns. hwever empty shells are non existance before i put the fellow in.

i did see it clampering with the other snails over some CRS food. dunno if its after the food or after the snails.
